Naturopathic Doctor vs. Medical Doctor: Who Wins?
There are two main methods of treating disease. One is the preventive, the other combative. Natural health care and natural therapies work to prevent illness while allopathic medical research and practice is almost entirely along combative lines.
Naturopathic Physicians: Transforming Healthcare
Allopathic Medicine/Medical Doctors
The slogan of allopathic medical science is, “Kill (or cut out) the germ and cure the disease.” The procedure is to wait until acute or chronic diseases have fully developed, and then attempt to subdue disease by means of drugs, surgeries, and vaccines.
Natural health care does not wait until diseases have fully developed. Natural health care concentrates on preventing, by clean living and natural therapies, the development of diseases. When your body is in a normal, healthy condition, it can resist infection and the inroads of germs, bacteria and parasites.
Natural Therapies/Naturopathic Doctors
Your natural health care practitioner will regulate your diet, supplements and habits of living on a natural basis, promote elimination, teach correct breathing and exercise, correct the spine, and help you establish the right mental and emotional attitudes. To the extent you are successful in making positive changes in your life, you build your health and lessen the possibility of disease.
You understand it is cheaper and better for you to prevent disease than to cure it.
To create and maintain continuous, buoyant good health means greater mental and physical work, and greater capacity for true enjoyment of your life.
The natural health care practitioner and consultant, the diet expert, and the Naturopathic doctor do not pay too much attention to your diagnosis or the symptoms of your disease.
The successful doctor has to do more teaching than prescribing.
As long as you violate the laws of natural health, and make your body a breeding ground for diseases, germs and parasites, these will provoke inflammatory, feverish processes. Inflammatory processes are Nature’s cleansing and healing efforts.
Then combative measures against infection will have to be taken. However, these measures should be in harmony with Nature. Any natural therapies used should support, not suppress your body’s ability to heal itself.
Natural health food diets, fasting, hydrotherapy, chiropractic, medicinal herbs, mental and emotional therapies can be combative as well as preventive. But if properly applied they do not in any way injure the organism or interfere with Nature’s intent and Nature’s methods. This cannot be said for the surgical and drug treatments of allopathic medicine.
For more than a century natural health care has been curing inflammatory, feverish diseases and chronic health issues using nutrition, hydrotherapy, fasting, detoxification and other natural therapies, without resorting to the use of poisonous drugs or surgeries.
